What is SHIFTRONIC?
SHIFTRONIC is a unique transmission system which is available on the Hyundai Elantra. This transmission system allows the driver to override the automatic transmission and manually shift gears to gain more control over the car's performance. How to Use SHIFTRONIC.

A driver can change gears in one of two ways depending on the model of car he is driving. Some models have the typical central console gear shift. In this case, when the driver wants to up shift, he pushes the shift lever forward. Conversely, when he wants to down shift, he pulls back on the shift lever.
